Going with the flow

We all know that saying “going with the flow” but how do we do it, how do we make this a daily response to life? Personally I feel/think that we need to remember that we are all a part of the cosmos, of the continuous unfolding of the universe. Play with this concept, feel into it, imagine what it is like to know that you are a small but integral part of this expanding universe, ever changing, ever being, fluid and alive.

A dance practice to practise

Invite yourself to consciously tune into the cosmic flow. Imagine, sense, feel into all that is flowing within you, your energy (chi) your fluid systems (cells, blood, sacral, lymph hormones…so much flow within your body)  your ancestry ( we all emerged from the first cells the first life forms that developed in the sea, in the watery environs) Imagine yourself a part of this consciousness, this mind/matter that is movement, and invite your body to respond, follow the impulses of your body into the flow of life…
