Dance me to your beauty with a burning violin
Dance me through the panic ’til I’m gathered safely in
Lift me like an olive branch and be my homeward dove
dance me to the end of love
Dance me to the end of love, Leonard Cohen
Beautiful words by the amazing Leonard Cohen, who I was fortunate to see when he last visited Melbourne. WoW! He reminds us of the possibilities of the dance, of the dive into truth, of acknowledging pain, but also deep love. We will be dancing our truth for two hours tomorrow night in celebration of the Winter Solstice. This longest night, is an opportune time to dive into the dance, into the body, into the breath- and follow our path, wherever it takes us. Let us allow our movement impulses to guide us once more. Movement is after all our first sense, our first real connection to the world, and continues to be a great source of learning and wisdom. If we allow it to be. I Invite you all to allow the wisdom of your moving body to shine a light on your truth. Come and share this evening with me, with all those who turn up to be fully present to their lives.
